They're humans, they have lives and minds. They were conceived in love and they need the help and guidance of us. They've only begun their beautiful life in this world and they ought to be given a chance, which many aren't. Mlevsah explained that child neglect is usually a sociological problem for parents. They have too many children and after awhile they decide they can't cope with their family and they lose interest in parental responsibility. respon-sibility. Ninety per cent of parents with children are emotionally depriving their kids. They don't give the emotional support their children need. Usually neglect happens in families with financial trouble. Child abuse is a psychological problem. If the parent was abused when young, he or she will most likely abuse their child or children. The parents' inner stress and internal problems cause abuse. They take out their own problems on their kids. People who abuse children are sick and need help. Child abuse occurs most frequently in wealthy homes. There are five major areas of child neglect or child abuse, and they are the following: 1. Bruises, welts, scars; II Burns; III, Central Nervous System Injuries; IV, Bone Injuries and V, Failure to Thrive (Starvation). I. Bruises, welts and scars are usually caused by excessive discipline.
