Show young speakers compete A number of Brenda Bensch's speech and drama students attended at-tended the First Annual Cougar Forensics Classic speech tournament tourna-ment at BYU. in February. The contest is open to all Utah and surrounding state high schools. The following Park High students went into the different areas of contest work: STUDENT CONGRESS: Christine Evans, Kim Knudsen, Yadmin Mueller, Mark Seward, Stephanie Weaver, Heather Sivler, Mike Weaver, Howard Uriarte, Kelly Morris and Chanine Chantry. ORATORY: Jeaneen Wallin, Cammy Glad. ORAL INTERPRETATION: Col leen Burns, Andrea Allred. EX-TEMP: EX-TEMP: Wess Jollcy, Vicki Stuart, Kris Elwell, Gcnco Pirraglio. IMPROMPTU SPEAKING, OXFORD OX-FORD DEBATE, AND CROSS-EXAMINATION. CROSS-EXAMINATION. There was a Sweepstakes award given to the school receiving the most points in bate. There were also first, second and third place trophies given to students who participated partic-ipated in invididual events and placed.
