Show LETTERS Leash Law Crack Down Editor: 4-2-5 Leash Control Law (2) A dog shall be deemed to be running at large when off or away from the premises of the owner, possessor or' keeper thereof and not under the direct control of the owner, possessor, keeper or his agent, or servant or a member of his immediate family either by: leash, cord, chain, no longer than (10) ten feet in length and of sufficient strength to completely restrain the dog or within a vehicle or other confinement. This law will be enforced as of 15 October 1977, not only because a law says it will be so but because of the ice and snow soon due. Walking on such areas is difficult at best. The safety of residents and visitors is important. impor-tant. I appreciate the cooperation of local dog owners during the summer and now ask for the same cooperation. Thanks, Trisha Hansen Park City Animal Control Officer |
