Show eagle update teaching. When Anne arrived she found that Helen was a very pitied and spoiled child. In order for Anne to achieve what she wanted for Helen, she had to take Helen away from her parents. Helen and Anne moved to the Keller's garden house for two weeks. When they came back, Helen Keller's miracle had worked. Dr. Simmons thought that the students had behaved very well during the play and bought the whole school a treat the next day. The Middle school students would like to congratulate Mrs. Bensch and her cast and helpers for their great performance. If you saw the play we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Here are some Middle school student's comments about the play. David Packard: "1 thought Julie Eriksen did a good job." Joanna Taylor: "I liked Kelly Utley, I thought she was very good." Allison Goodworth Allison Goodworth is this week's sixth grade student of the week. Allison's parents are Richard and Carolyn Good-worth. Good-worth. Allison has three sisters, Kristin, nine: Shannon, seven: and Megan, 18 months. She also has a brother. Warren who is four years old. Allison likes to collect stamps and likes horse racing. She does not have a horse but still likes the sport. Allison has lived in the Park City area for four years. She moved here from Norwood Colorado where she lived for four years. Allison was born in Salt Lake City; she now lives in Summit Park. Allison doesn't have any plans for the future right now. Her favorite color is light blue, favorite number is 4. and favorite class is science. By Joanna Taylor Debbie Thomason Debbie Thomason is this week's eighth grade student of the week. Her parents are Bob and Paula Thomason. Debbie lives with her parents and vounger sister Tracy, who is in the fifth grade, next to the Mt. Air Market. Debbie has two dogs. Goofy and Boozes; one cat. Spunky and one hampster. Stuffy. Mr. Thomason works as a mechanic and Mrs. Thomason Thoma-son is a drive-up teller at the Silver King Bank. Debbie's favorite sport is football. Houston Hous-ton and Washington are her favorite National Football League teams. Debbie's favorite favor-ite hobbie is reading. She likes to read Nancy Drew books by Carolyn Keene. Debbie has lived in Park City all of her life. She plans on going to college in the future. Debbie says that she might become a stewardess of a secretary. By Joanna Taylor David Van Luven David Van Luven is the seventh grade student of the week. He is the son of Wayne and Pat Van Wagoner. He has one brother, Mark. He is a native of Michigan but likes it here better. David's hobbies are reading, skiing, and cross country skiing in which he has won several awards. David also likes soccer and basketball. He was last year's sixth grade one on one basketball champion. He also is an avid football fan and likes the New England Patriots. By Billy Simmons Andrea Sloan Andrea Sloan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sloan, and this weeks fifth grade student of the week. Andrea, before coming to Utah, used to live in southern California. In California she was on a swimming swim-ming team and practiced every day. Now Andrea is going to concentrate on skiing. Also she likes to read mysteries and ride her bike when it is not cold. When asked if she likes it here she said, "yes. but it is cold." By Billy Simmons Miracle Worker Winters Middle School was invited to the high school to watch their production of "The Miracle Worker." Buses were loaded at 12:45 p.m. and the play started at ten minutes after one. The Miracle Worker is the story of a deaf and blind girl named Helen Keller. Her parents couldn't handle her and needed help. They hired Anne Sullivan, a girl who was blinded in her younger years. She had nine operations to help her see, it worked.
