Show Guesthouse Restaurant Opens The Resort Center has a new restaurant, formerly Das Gast-house, Gast-house, called The Guesthouse. Jerry and Kenny Beavers plan to open their new restaurant November No-vember 2. The Beavers are from Northern California and recently moved to Park City. The new restaurant will feature elaborate weekend brunches, which will include Salmon, Liver pate, and corned beef hash, among other dishes. Breakfast will be set up buffet style. Dinner will include a special teriyaki flame for two, Abalone, Trout, Lobster, "and we hope one of the best salad bars in the state," said Jerry Beavers. Besides the special salad bar for lunch and dinner, there will also be homemade soup and as much as you can eat for $2.50 during the lunch hour. Lunch will feature the "Ore Car" special, a hamburger with mushrooms and various sauces and cheeses. The "Jupiter Bowl" includes a brautwurst with sourkraut. Jerry Beavers said she will expand the lunch menu as the need arises, but adds that most skiers are usually anxious to get back on the slopes. One other specialty at The Guesthouse: there will be available avail-able eight different kinds of tea. The Guesthouse plans to apply for a mini-bottle license, and will have liquor and wine. - Jerry Beavers said a wide selection of steak will be on the menu. "I think there's a need for a full service restaurant," she said. The Guesthouse will seat 76 people and be open seven days a week. The new owner said she plans to serve only dinners during the first week, and then add lunch and breakfast the next two weeks. She pointed out that along with dinner will be gourmet appetizers, appeti-zers, such as stuffed mushrooms, prawns, and oysters. One item on the menu is orange glazed game hen. Managing The Guesthouse will be Ken Young. He will also be head cook.
