Show Ski Corp Details Scholarshipl The Park City Ski Corporation is offering the followingscholar-ship followingscholar-ship for senior students of the Park City High School commencing com-mencing with the graduates of the class of '76 and for each succeeding year thereafter unless un-less otherwise voided by the Park City Ski Corporation. The scholarship is available for senior students who will pursue pur-sue a course of study leading to a Bachelor's Degree in any accredited college or university in the United States or foreign Additional information- may be received from -Ray Johnson, President of the Park City Ski Corporation or from Dr. Richard L. Goodworth, Superintendent of Schools, Park City School District, Dis-trict, 301 Main Street, Park City, Utah 84060. Those students interested in applying should provide to the above mentioned persons, the following information: 1. A statement from the High School Principal or Counselor-as Counselor-as to the student's grade point average and rank in class. 2. Statements by individuals concerning the applicant's citizenship citi-zenship and character. A maximum max-imum of three may be attached. 3. A statement of the applicant's appli-cant's course of study heshe is contemplating pursuing in an accredited college or university uni-versity giving special emphasis to what areas in the liberal arts. 4. A statement by the applicant appli-cant of hisher school activities, honors, awards and other special spec-ial honors received. 5. A statement by the applicant appli-cant or other knowledgeable individuals in-dividuals of significant out of door activities related to community, com-munity, church, and leisure time. Special emphasis may be given to involvement in skiing. 6. Please proved the name and address of the college or university you plan to attend. 7. The applicant must submit sub-mit a statement as to the financial finan-cial need for trying to secure this scholarship. 8. Personal letters of recommendation rec-ommendation from school counselors, coun-selors, teachers, and others concerning con-cerning the applicant. This must be limited to not more than three for any applicant. country ' as may be deemed acceptable to the committee. The following dates should be noted. All information and the official application must be submitted sub-mitted to the committee at the following address: Mr. Ray Johnson, P. O. Box 3 9, Park City, Utah, 84060 or otherwise filed with Mr. Ray Johnson on or before be-fore April 15 of the year for consideration con-sideration no later than 3 p.m. of that day. The applicant must file a completed com-pleted application form with all . attached information requested for consideration at that time. The committee will meet and announce the winner of the scholarship schol-arship on or before May 5 following. fol-lowing. The scholarship will be in the total amount of $2000.00, paid in increments of $500.00 at the beginning of each of the four years providing the recipient recip-ient keeps the grade point average aver-age sufficient to remain in school and in the course of study heshe is pursuing. The $500.00 will be paid upon receipt by the committee from the University of a notice that the student has registered and which contains a copy of the student's schedule from the current quarter or semester. |
