Roianne Toly Karri Hays Louis Leatham Big Races Ahead for PC Skiers consist of downhill, slalom, and giant slalom while the Junior National racers compete in slalom and giant slalom. Park City Ski Team members Roxanne Toly, Karri Hays, and Renee Farwig will represent Park City in the Junior Olympics to be held in Squaw Valley March 13-18. Susie Robinson and Caroline Wilson were named alternates to the team. Louis Leatham, another stand-out skier from Park City will compete in the men's division. Peter Donner will be an alternate. The Junior Nationals will be held at roughly the same time as the Olympics and Jodi Robinson and Danielle Jensen will compete in the Nationals in Sun Valley from March 15-19. Park City ski team coach, Bob Marsh, said competitors in both events are looked at closely by U.S. ski Team officials. The Junior Nationals and Olympics pit some of the best young racers in the country, Marsh added. All seven divisions of United States Ski Association compete in both events. The Olympics |
