Show Planned Growth of Golf Course Wont Meet 9-Hole Play in 1971 i - o - Jk Park City Resort's golf course is open and in excellent condition" according to Resort professional Ralph Emery. "Several persons thought our existing nine-hole course would be closed this season for the construction of buildings and 11 new holes for the gold course. Actually, the construction doesn't interfer with the existing exist-ing course and we'll be open and in good shape all season. "Next golf season, the Resort Re-sort will open with essentially a brand new 18 hole championship champion-ship course, with the addition of the 11 new holes now being built north of the present course and with four of the existing holes redesigned." says Emery. We're building 11 new holes because two present holes will become the site of a residential and commercial village in 1972." The new course will start and finish next season at a recreation recrea-tion complex to be built about a half mile north of the present Park City Resort Center. When completed, the complex will include in-clude a golf and tennis pro shop, putting green, tennis courts, swimming pool, locker rooms, and a snack bar.
