Show Will Durrants Note 51st Wedding Date in Salt Lake City Saturday An Open House will be held for Richard William and Afton Carter Durrant at their Salt Lake residence, 3355 Birch Circle (3355 E. 3990South)Sat-urday 3990South)Sat-urday 15, 1971 between the hours of lp.m.and4p.m.Theoccasion together at the Chuck-A-Rama. The Durrants are looktagfor-warding looktagfor-warding to seeing their many friends but request no gifts, please. is to honor the Durrants on their 51st wedding anniversary. Last year, the occasion of their 50th weddinganniversary, the Durrants were serving on a mission for the LDS Church in the Western States. The Durrants lived in Por-terville, Por-terville, Utah for six years. They moved to Snyderville in 1926 where they resided until his retirement from farming. At this time the couple moved to Park City. Mr. Durrant was bishop of the Park City LDS Ward for 12 years; Stake mission president and orgnist for priesthood and YMMIA: Superintendent on the Stake high council for eleven years. He served as a Summit County Commissioner for eleven years, and for two of the eleven years he served as chairman. He is an actrve member mem-ber of the Park City Kiwanis club. Mrs. Durrant has been active in church work throughout her life. She has worked with the Beehive girls; acted as president pres-ident of the MIA and has taught in Sunday School and Relief Society. The Durrants have eight chil- dren and twenty seven grandchildren. grand-children. Their children are as follows: Mrs. James (Verla) Simpson of Santiago, Chili; Bill Durrant of Orem, Utah; Mrs. Grant (Louise) Judd of Hoyts-ville; Hoyts-ville; Dale Durrant of Snyderville; Snyder-ville; Blaine Durrant and Mrs. (D.irris) Cullen of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ralph (Karen) Miles of Park City and Mrs. Rick (Joan) Wallace of " Arlington, Virginia.
