Show RIVERDALE GETS .; ELECTRIC LIGHTS The rcsldeuls.of Rlverdalcare-'Just row rejoicing over the advent of an electric light and distributing system there. The system has recently becu installed by the Davis county electric company, and tho homes of those de-' de-' siring electric light arn being wired. The people are glad that The electric light has come to Illverdale, say some of the residents there, b.u they are deeply concerned aa to what price will be, charged for tho "juke," and, as suggested by a citizen of that place, It Is more than likely that a committee will be appointed to confer with the company on the question el prices. It Is "contended that the meter system sys-tem should not be Instituted in River-dale, River-dale, and that no guarantee fund should be furnished tho electric light .company. The flat rate seems to be I the most acceptable to the people of ,' the little town, and many- of them ex-l.ress ex-l.ress the thought that the vate should be bettor than prevails generally in this -vicinity. It is argued that a flat rate, of three 16-candle-power Incandescent Incan-descent lights are furnished the people of Provo at $1 a month, the Mght to bo used twenty-four hours If needed; the same rate Is made at American Fork. Lebl and Pleasant Grove; Logan Is furnishing the people light for only 10 cents per month for each 16-candle-power light, and that Rlverdale Is deserving de-serving of consideration on the price question. |
