Dec. 16. nulldinss over a radius of several blocks were damaged by a boiler explosion in the Fredonla street railway power house j here shortly before midnight. One j mm was killed and another faulty injured Two boilers exploded simul-1 taneouslv, with a roar that was plainly plain-ly heard nt a distance of several miles. The property loss will exceed $150,000. The dead man, L B. Burrows, a lireman was hit by a 1.200-pourd fragment of flylnr metal. His assistant. assist-ant. William Bishop, was seated cn a beam which was blown through the j roof to the top of a barn, 5u0 feet nvay, carrying him along.
