Show LOCAL FELONIES -GO UNDISTURBED Shooting, Cutting Scrapes, and Hold-Ups Hold-Ups Occur During Past Week With Officers Unable to Apprehend the Offenders. Friday evening of last week there -was a cutting in Copperfield, according accord-ing to reports, and from all available information, the slasher has not been brought to bay. These two'men were taken to a back room where one of them was tied and gagged, it is said. A worker for the Utah Construction Construc-tion company, coming off shift, and entering for his breakfast, was the next to fall victim to the hold-ups, and it is claimed that he was relieved of $75 in cash.. According to all available information, informa-tion, it was impossible to get in touch with the local sheriff's office, and it is alleged that it was 11 a.m. Monday before a deputy sheriff arrived upon the scene, and he remained but a few minutes, according to reports.
