Show BUILDING BS TO COST $15,000 David Mattson to Erect Store Rooms on Corner of Twenty-fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue, Structure to be 97 by 132 Feet-New Feet-New Store on Washington Avenue. State Treasurer David H. Mattaon haw plans drawn for the construction of a large building block on the corner of Lincoln avenue and Twenty-flfth street The building will be a one-story one-story brick, containing a basement, with a frontage of 97 feet on Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth street and 132 feet on Lincoln av. enue. The entire front on both streeta will be of plate gloss. Excavating for the basoment of this building will be begun March 1, and the structure will be completed by tho first of April. The foundation of the building will bo sufficiently strong to warrant tho erection of three or four stories thereon, and this, Mr. Mattson says, be expects to do as fast as there Is a demand for more store or office room on' that corner. Tho cost of the rresent structure Is estimated to bo alout S15.000. Mr. Mattson has a 09-year lease on the ground. For the present Mr. Mattson states that the block will bo used exclusively for store rooms, but that ultimately he anticipates that It will be enlarged so as lo accommodate the public In office and rooming apartments. W. T Aatlll Is constructing a building build-ing on Washington avenue, between Twenty-second and Twenty-third streets, lli.it. will cost $5,O0u. Tne building will be of brick, one story high. 90 by 38 feet. The block will be completed within 90 days and will be ued as a store |
