Flannery, president of the board of police commissioners of San Francisco, Francis-co, was today indicted by the Marin couuty grand jury on a charge of 'giand larceny. Bench warrants have been Issued and the bail bond flxd at J2.000. The indictment of Flannery followed fol-lowed an investigation by the Mariu country grand Jury into the operations opera-tions of a gang of alleged pool room bunco men and wire tappers who were arrested in a raid on theiheadqu8r-t'-is In Sausallto. At the time of the arrest of Joseph Abbott, Frank Hazel and Frank Mc-Sherry, Mc-Sherry, it was charged that Flannery had Interested himself In their cases t othe extent of securing legal gC.r. vices for them.
