She was a daughter or Mr. and Mrs. John Tienan, and with them came to Utah in 1871, living here ever since. She married Dr. Whitney in this city in 1889, and they had two children, Frank and Virginia, both or whom survive her. She also leaves a mother and two brothers, who reside in this city. Mrs. Whitney was an active worker work-er in the St. Mark's Episcopal church of this city and had a wide acquaintance. acquaint-ance. She was of a loving disposition, disposi-tion, and was highly respected and loved by all who knew hor. Funeral arrangements have not yet boen completed com-pleted and the announcement will be made later. I |
