Show REVIVAL MEETINGS A series of revival meetings were started in the Methodist church Sunday. Sun-day. They will last two weeks, and will be he'ld every night of the week except Saturday. The Interest Is already al-ready good, as the attendance at the services yesterday was large. Such great meetings aro being held elsewhere else-where that there seems to be a feeling feel-ing that there Is no reaon why Ogden Og-den should not have a revival. If all who would like to see one will come and bring those who are not Christians Chris-tians with them to the Methodist church they will help bring a revival Rev. H. B. Johnson, D. D superintendent superin-tendent of the Japanese work of the Methodist work west of the Mississippi, Mississip-pi, is spending a few days In Ogden. He spent Saturday looking into the conditions of the Japanese in Ogden. He was shown many courtesies by tho leading Japanese residents, who arranged ar-ranged a dinner Saturday evening, at whicn ho and Rev. George McCrcory were cuests. Later that evenlnc a meeting for the Japanese wan held in the Methodist church This meeting was largely attended and full of Interest Inter-est to those present. Dr. Johnson preached In Japanese. At the Sunday morning service at the Methodist church missionary work for the Japanese in Japan and America Amer-ica was described by Dr. Johnson to a large congregation. |
