Fifteen thousand men and women are expected to compete In the German Olympic and auxiliary I games to be held from Jun' 24 to 1 July 2. Many of the -onirics are trom I Austria. Rumania. L2echo-Slovakit. Switzerland, Spain Poland, L'pper SI-1 I lesia and Danzig. Austria alone Is ; sending 40n contestants. I While the Olympics themselves are confined to the USUal track and ileld I events and oilier features on the pro-i pro-i gram of the world Olympics, addl-' addl-' tional events have been arranged lor I this year: hence the addition "auxll-I "auxll-I lary" games to the title. I The gymnasts comprise the largest section of the prospective contestants, contest-ants, the entries numbering 2024, of whom 162 are women. The pen-I pen-I tathlon will be contested by 1275. while 1180, including 80 women, are entered In the lightweight field events. The marathon i exported to' bring out BOO runners.
