Show LONDON DANCE HALL TO BE LARGEST EVER LONDON', June 3 London shopkeepers shop-keepers are anticipating a seuaon far more brilliant than any since the war It Is expected that more American money will be spent here this year than for nuiny years past, and many are the plans being made- to capture as much of it as possible by entertainments entertain-ments of various sorts. In Sharing Cross road London Is planing the biggest dance hall In the world This will have accommodation on one floor for 1,600 dancers and balcon space for 1,000 spectators Eighty women and 26 men will be engaged to teach dancing, while three banks, two English and one American will provide the music For the otb-r side of the picture the bishop of Peterborough has proposed that in everj ballroom and on every dinner table during the season a box be placed labelled "For the Fellowship Fellow-ship of Britain" in which contributions could be received ' for the many thousands in this country' who often do not know where the next monl is to come from." |
