Use of government owned transports on the I Great 1-akes as government carrier ,to relieve tho car shortage and in-j crease grain transportation was sug-' gested to the interstate commerce, commission today by Clifford Thornc, '"of Chicago, representing the National Farmers' Grain Dealers association.
