Miss Edna Malan of Ogden has been j tho complimented guest at many showers and narties during tho last fow wooks of Miss Malan's sojourn In Washington, D. C. Last Tuesday oven- ing a shower was given in honor of tho brldo-to-bo by Miss Jessio Knim of Topcka, Kansas, at the O'Hern club. Games woro played during tho evening, even-ing, and tasty refreshments were served serv-ed to tho guests. Besides tho honored guest thorc woro present: Misa Mary Malan, Miss Zimmerman, Mrs. Arthur McGregor. Mrs. F.'X, A- Eblo, Mrs. Frnncis G. Mattson. Mrs. Thomas It. Reos, all of Ogdon, and Miss Fay Lambert, Mrs W. P. Monson, Jr., Mrs Grant Hinck- loy, Mrs McLaughlin -of Salt Lake i City; Mrs Johanneson of Idaho Fans; Mrs. Lin Morgan of Provo, and Miss Anna Reh of Washington, D. C. . Miss Malan, an employe of the department de-partment of agriculture, will leave about May 15 for her homo in Ogden, Og-den, where sho will become the bride of H. Bernard Tannor of Sale Lake City. Tho marriage will take place sometime during tho month of June. EVENING PARTT. Miss Myrtle Goddard entertained- a few of her friends at her home, 1084 Twenty-first street, last Thursday evening, May 13. The time was delightfully de-lightfully spent in playing games and dancing. A tempting luncheon was sorved by tho hostess, who was assisted assist-ed by her mother, Mrs E. M. Goddard and her sistor, Mrs. S, F. Whitaker and Mrs J. R. Bachman.
