The clown band of Ogden lodge, which made a big hit at tho convention, conven-tion, will also be In line tonight furnishing fur-nishing a good brand of musical alibi. Members of tho clown band are asked to be at Ihp club at 7 o'clock in order to get their costumes on in Mildred Kemp and Mrs. C. A. Hazen Injured; Cars Meet Head-on. Miss Mildred Kemp, employe of the Minerva cafe, and Mrs. C. A. rlazen, were Injured In an accident last night when John Green. 4ia Twenty-fourth, driving an automobile, collided with a car driven by H. E. Marriott, at First street and Wash- lngton avenue. Miss Kemp was knocked unconscious and Mrs. C. A. , Hazen is reported to have sustained a broken arm. Green, a switchtender, 50 years old. was arrested at 1:30 o'clock this morning on a charge of drunkenness and of reckless driving. Information from the police is that Green, carrying In his car Mr. and Mrs. Hazen, their five year old child, Miss Kemp and Steve Andrews, woro proceeding north on tho west side of, Washington avenue. It is said by the I police that Green had been driving' nt a rapid pace prior to the mis- hap. ; At First street, the Grcon car met ' tho auto driven by Marriott. Police: assert that ;Green was on the wrong side of tho street and did not give I tho other car an opportunity to pass. !
