An idcntlficatin tag, bearing the , namo "Nathan H. Woods" was found in the pocket of the dead man. A small book, bearing his namo and his address as'Salt Lake, as also found. Detective Wultcr Mooro and Robert Chambers Investigated tho accident, and removed the man's personal effects ef-fects from his pockots after being authorized au-thorized to do so by Judge D. R. Roberts, Rob-erts, who was present. I They found tho book and tho Identification Iden-tification tag, several pocket knives, a purse containing $5.4 7 and other small articles. About two hours after the accident had occurred, police officers discovered discov-ered that Joseph Woods, a nephew of the deceased, was living at 953 Twenty-third street. Woods said that his uncle was a wanderer and that ho was survived by a daughter named Alice, whoso last namo he had not known since her marriage. She is thought to reside at Salt Lake, or at some place immediately west of Salt LaJte. Efforts of Salt Lake police to locate the daughter woro not successful yesterday. Tho body was removed to tho Lindquist mortuary. oo |
