Roger Hornsby, Horns-by, one of the leading batsmen in thei National league, signed a contract to remain with the Cardinals for 1920, it was announced last night. In announcing tho Hornsby contract Manager Branch Rickey of the Cardinals Cardi-nals refused an offer of money andj players for the second baseman aggre-gaing aggre-gaing approximately $100,000. Horns-1 by's batting average last season was .318, Acquisition of six players wasj announced tonight by the St. Louis i Americans. Among them were Lee; Dudley, third baseman, Denver; J.
