Herbert Hoover to assist in the relief i of hungry European peoples, is in j dorsed by the American Bankers' as-1 soclalion and that association has ar- j ranged to circularize its membership of 22.000 banks in the United States requesting their assistance in selling these drafts. Hoover's plan seems to be the safest, most economical and only really real-ly practical method of helping the. people of Poland, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Czecho-Slovakia. , Under Mr. Hoover's plan persons in ! the United Stales who desire to help I persons in those countries may do so in a convenient manner. , The American relief administration is stocking war houses in Warsaw, J Hamburg, Vienna, Budapest and Prague with flour, bacon, bcana. canned milk, corned beef, lard, and cotton seed oil. When persons In the J countries mentioned obtain food draft from persons in the United States the recipient goes to the nearest food depot de-pot and obtains food. Ik There ,are two-$l,0 and two $50 food drafts designed to meet Christian requirements re-quirements and Jewish requirements.
