Show MORRIS FUNERAL TO BE TUESDAY SALT LAKE, Dec 1 Funeral services serv-ices for Mrs Mary Lois Walker Morris Mor-ris w ill be held at 1 o clock tomorrow afternoon at the Forest Dale chapel Bishop Ellas S Woodruff will preside at the services Interment will be in the City cemetery, Mrs Morris was born in Leek. Staf- fordshire, England May 14, 1 S 3 5 Sho j sailed from England w ith her parents on the "Joslah Bardlex" in 1S30 landing land-ing at New Orleans. With her first husband. John T. Morris, she crossed the plains in an ox team caravan with Joseph H Young in 1855. Mrs Morris was a close student of current events and maintained her in terest to the end. Within an hour of her death she was assisting a young teacher prepare her Sunday school les son for the next day Her death came not altogether without warning, but suddenly and without suffering. The five children who survlxe her 'are Mrs. Edward T Ashton, Mrs George M. Cannon, Nephi L Morris, George Q. Morris, and Catherine V Morris She also jeaxes twenty eight grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren |
