Show wipe Gov. Frazier Assured Men Will Return Throughout State. BISMARCK, N. D. Nov. 13 Governor Gov-ernor Frazier of North Dakota announced an-nounced this morning that he had revived re-vived assurance from union miners throuKhout North Dakota that they would return to work today after being be-ing on strike since last Saturday. They will return, Governor Frazier said, at the same wage scale that has been In effect since last January. The proposed increase of sixty per cent, rejected by the operators, brought about the strike order. Henry Drennen, president of DIs trlct No. 27 of the United Mine Workers, Work-ers, comprising North Dakota and Mon tana, wired all locals ot the union last night ordering the strike called off. By the terms of an order issued last niht, coal operators are to be allowed a royalty of from 10 to 25 cents a ton on each ton of lignite mined under state control. |
