Show jSTOFI MARKETS OPENSTRONG NEW YORK, Nov. 13 Stocks were strong at the opening of today's session, ses-sion, indicating that liquidation had run its course, for a time at least. It was generally recognized, however, ! that the market's future was wholly I dependent upon money rates. General Motors, the central feature I of the recent depression, made -an initial in-itial gain of 15 points and Texas com jpany and Mexican Petroleum, other conspicuous features of the recent decline, de-cline, rose 6 to 9 points respectively. In other divisions of the stock list, rallies of 1 to -1 points were made. Trading was on a moderate scale with signs of substantial support, especially especial-ly in the high grade shares. |
