EFFERSDW CASE HIS EN POSTPONED The preliminary hearinc in the case of ihe state of T'taJi against John Ef-ferson. Ef-ferson. charged with assault with a deadly weapon on the person of T. B. Terrell, started this morning in sit court. Due to the absence of eye witnesses wit-nesses of the affair, the cao was post -poned by Judge D. R Roberts until next Thursda morning Terrell testified in the court this morninc that Bffenon approached him without warning and severely cut and clashed him with a knife on the wrisi, chest, head, neck and breast. A blood - J stained coat was Introduced as evidence. evi-dence. Tho coat bore the marks where the knife had been stuck.
