The resolution is as follows: Whereas, inquiries nie being made is to whether or not tin commissioners commission-ers will permil the sotting off ol fireworks fire-works m this city on the fourth daj of July. 1 91 f. and, Whereas, under the present wall r supply conditions the discharge o( fire- j vrorke r nulling in fires, would be dif-i dif-i ii 'j io cope With, and. W hereas, an ordinance of this rii prohibit the sotting off of fireworks without the permission f the Mayor, and, In reaB, IB the opinion of the Board of CommiLSioners of Ogden City it is r cessary for the safety of the citizens citi-zens and property of this city to prevent pre-vent the use of fireworks Now therefore, be it resolved, that1 no setting off of anv squib, fire crack- I er or other fireworks will be permitted : within the limits of Ogden City and all persons so setting off such fireworks fire-works will be prosecuted as provided! by rh' ordinances of Ogden City; Resolved further, that it shall be unlawful un-lawful for any person, firm or corporation corpor-ation to sell or give away, or exchange! any squib, fire cracker or other fin-works fin-works within the limits of Ogden City Adopted and passed by the Board of Commissioners this first day of Julv. 1919. |
