Show CHICAGO RAISES WAGES OF ALL j CITYWORKERS CHICAGO, July 1 Troubles of the cily with its employes over wages seemed somewhat, nearer solution today, to-day, as the i-ult of the council's action ac-tion at midnight in raising the wages of all classes of city workers. In no instance were the various forces given what they de nanded, but the agreement agree-ment to pay the union scale of wages lo all organized skilled and unskilled I labor was received with approva'. The 800 clerks who went on sriko yesterday were expected to return to their desks today, having been granted grant-ed an increa-oe in wages to $1,500 a year.
