Show GREAT CONVENTION OF DRYS PLANNED WESTERVI LLE, O., Nov. 8, Plans are going forward for what prohibition leaders declare will be the most Important Im-portant national convention over held by tho National Anti-Saloon league when the body convenes at Washington Washing-ton December 10. According to announcement an-nouncement made here at the national headquarters of the league, the governors gov-ernors of every state will be invited to attend and make addresses. William Wil-liam Jennings Bryan will speak. Representatives of organized labor of tho Granges, merchants and manufacturers manu-facturers as well as tho leaders in public pub-lic life, are to bo asked to address the convention, and put special emphasis upon efforts to make the 'United States dry through the passage of an amendment amend-ment to the federal constitution. A resolution looking to that end has been adopted by the senate and Is to bo Drought in the house early in December. Decem-ber. Delegates from all parts of the country' will attend. Feds, of Ohio, have signified their intention of speaking. Other senators sen-ators and representatives probably will be on the program, it Is announced. Other speakers include Captain R. P. I Hobson, of Alabama, Sam W. Small, of Atlanta, and Mrs. Anna A. Gordon, of Evanston, 111., president of the Na-lional Na-lional Women's Christian Temperance .inion. It Is announced that every' individual hurch organization of every denomination; denomin-ation; every young people's society and temperance organization is entitled entit-led to send a delegate.
