Show TOO MUCH NOISE IS CAUSE OF CASE IN COURT The case against C. H. Ellsworth, charged with causing unnecessary noise while driving an automobile through Ogden streets, was dismissed in municipal court this morning owing to the fact that Mr. Ellsworth was able to prove to the court that his boy, who was driving the machine, was unaware of the cltv ordinance, and by reason of the fact that Mr. Ellsworth, himself is a law officer of the county, thought that tho "cut out" had been opened by accident. In commenting on the case, Judge BarkeT was inclined to the dismissal of the case by reason of tho esteemed character of Mr. Ellsworth and the fact that never before had he been called to answer a charge in any court Mr. Ellsworth was instructed to warn his son of the city ordinance. The police are determined to put a stop to tho practice of unnecessary noisy driving of automobiles through this city. |
