Show ! FIE! SERVICES 1 ! FOB MRS. STEHS . The funeral of Mury' Jane Stevens was held Sunday at 3:30 p. m. in Og-den Og-den City cemetery. Mrs. Stevens was the wife of the late Sidney Stevens and died Thursday morning at 1 o'clock of general debility. She was 80 years of age. The services were conducted by Bishop James W. Ure of tho Fifth ward, assisted by his counselors, C. J. ' rBrown and J. H. F. Volker. Patriarch George W. Larkin, and Elder John McQuarrie, a life long friend, with Alva Scoville, of the Stake Presidency, paid high tribute to the deceased. Music was furnished by a quartette composed of Jed Ballantyne, Mrs. Myrtle B. Higlcy, Miss Mildred Ware and Walter Stevens, who sang "In the Time of Roses," "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "Forget Thy Sorrows." Beautiful floral offerings were placed plac-ed upon the grave by the eight pallbearers, pall-bearers, four her sons and A. L. Brewer, Brew-er, George Halvorson, Walter B. Scoville Sco-ville and E. A. Soderberg. Mrs. Stevens is survived by the following fol-lowing sons and daughters: Sidney 0., Frank J., Charles H., Albert U., and Walter P. Stevens, Mrs. F. H. De-Puy De-Puy and Mrs. G. T. Alvord of Logan; Mrs. A. V. Curby and Mrs. Elizabeth Emma Jones of Los Angeles, CaL; and Mrs. H. A. Soderberg of Ogden. |
