Show 00 Deaths and Funerals I PEARCE Georgia Arlene Pearco, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Pearcc. died at 12:15 p. m. Sunday at the family home, 2819 Childs avenue. The little girl had been ill for ten dayS of typhoid fever. The body was taken to Larkin & Sons' mortuary and will be shipped Tuesday to Lyman, Wyo., former homo of the family, for interment. WAYMENT The funeral of John Slater Wayment, young son of Bishop and Mrs. Alma Wayment, will be held in tho Slatervillc meeting house, Tuesday Tues-day at 2 p. m. The body may be viewed view-ed at the homo of tho grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Slater, at Slatervillc, Slater-villc, this evening and Tuesday until 1 o'clock. Interment will be in Plain City cemetery. J HOLLAND The funeral of John H. Holland was held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon In -the KIrkendall chapel. Elder Charles A. Shaw of the Seventh ward presided. "Our Everlasting 1 Friend" and "Sometimes, Somewhere," I were sung by Mrs. Dlcna Schouten and Mrs. Emma Koldowyn. Prayer was offered by Asael Farr. The speakers were Desmond J Barker and Bishop P. B. Wheelwright. Tho benediction was pronounced by Bishop William A. Budge. Interment was In Ogden city cemetery, the grave being dedicated by George Holland. MUIR The funeral of Joseph Clyde Muir, who died Sept.-30 at American Lake. Wash., was held Saturday in the Clinton ward meeting house with Bishop Fred Mitchell officiating. Tho musical numbers included, "Rock of Ages" and "I Need Thee Every Hour," by the ward choir; solo. "Beautiful Zion." by George Mitchell; solo, "Sometime We'll Understand," by Mrs. Mary Farley; solo, "The Flag Without a Stain." by Rotta S. Payne. The invocation in-vocation was. pronounced by E. A. Larkin and the benediction by M. B. Child. ,The speakers were Bishop O. D. Hadlock. Alexander Patterson, Captain Jorge'nsen of Fort Douglas; Leo J. Muir and Bishop Mitchell. Interment In-terment was In Clinton cemetery. "SORENSON Christ W. Sorenson died at 5 p. in. Saturday, at the hos-j pital of pneumonia and typhoid fever. He formerly lived at Lincoln avenue and Ninth street. Tho body is at the Lindqulst mortuary. j |
