Show THTMR M TO BE TRIED JT THE Biffin A call for 19 men from Ogden City and 5 from Weber Cpunty, to entrain October 15, for Salt Lake where they "will enter tho University of Utah for army training, has been received by tho local boards and many volunteers are already registering. Men may volunteer for the expedition until October Oc-tober 12. This is not a call for training train-ing in the S. A. T. corps. The men v.-ho are accepted -will be required to repprt with a good suit of clothing, a pair of stout shoes, and a double change of upderclothlng and socks. They will be uniformed three weeks after enlistment. Those sent to the school will bo instructed in automobile mechanics, radio, blacksmithing, surveying and topographical drafting. They may fit themselves for special positions in the j army, both at the front and behind the( lines, through this work and the government gov-ernment declares it to be an execp-j tional opportunity for men expecting' call to arms.
