Show Deaths and Funerals BOUWHUIS The funeral of Mrs. Catherine M. Bouwhuls was held at 2 p. ra. today In the LIndquist chapel. Rev. J. W. Westenburg officiated. Interment In-terment Ogden City ccmoter. SESSIONS The funeral of Mrs. Anna H. Sessions was held Saturday afternoon in the Liberty meeting house. Bishop James L. Shaw presided. pre-sided. The ward choir rendered the following: follow-ing: "Shall Wo Meet Beyond the Riv-er?" Riv-er?" "Sister. Thou Wast Mild and Lovely," and "Unveil Thy Bosom, Faithful Tomb." "I Know My Redeemer Re-deemer Liveth" was sung by Rose Ward. The speakers were Bishop Arthur Ferrin, President Thomas E. McKay, Patriarch George W. Larkin, President Thos. B. Evans and Bishop Shaw. The grave in Liberty cemetery was dedicated by Raymond Thompson. CROCKETT The funeral of James Warren Crockett will be held today at 4 p, m. in tho residence, 147 James Court. Tho body will be sent to Evan-ston, Evan-ston, this evening, for burial. He was the 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Crockett. DOXEY The funeral of Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Doxey was held at 2 p. m. Sunday in the Eleventh ward chapel with Elder El-der F. R. Watkins officiating. The speakers were Alma Doxoy, David Doxey and F. R. Watkins. The musical mus-ical program was as follows: "Beautiful "Beau-tiful Isle," by Miss Jennie Thorsten-son, Thorsten-son, and "Consolation" and "Sometime We'll Understand," by Ed Saunders. The grave in Ogden City cemetery was dedicated by John Doxey. LAYTON Annie Layton, age one and one-half years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Layton of Layton, Utah, died at 4:30 p. m. yestorday. She was born March 9, 1917 and is survived by her parents and one brother, bro-ther, Hyrum. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. in tho East Layton meeting house with Bishop J. E. Ellison officiating. Tho body may be viewed at the home of Hyrum Lay-ton Lay-ton Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. Wednes-day. Flowers left at Llndquist's before be-fore 12 noon Wednesday will be taken to the funeral. PETTI NGILL The funeral of Merrill Mer-rill Pettlnglll was held yesterdav at 4 p. m. in- the Wlllard tabernacle. Musical numbers were: "Wanted on tho Other Side," "Sometime We'll Understand," Un-derstand," and "I've Read of a Beau tiful City," by the ward choir. A duet, "Shall We Meet Again?" wai given by Ralph and Walter Call. The speakers were Poliss Taylor, Judge B. ,' A. Call, James M. White, William T. i Davis and Bishop Hubbard. The In- 1 vocation was offered by Bishop Wll- I lard R. Ward, and the benediction by Patriarch G. W. Larkin Interment was in Wlllard cemetery. I TAYLOR Fred Taylor, formerly ol Ogden, age 31 years, died August S at Palmdalc, Cal. He Is survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Edward Taylor j' of Ogden and three brothers, Frank Edward and George Taylor. The bod) will arrive in Ogden at 2;30 p. m. Tuesday, and the luneral will bo bell at 4:30 p. m. Tuesday In the Larkin. & Sons chapel. Interment will be it J Ogden City Cemetery. The decease was a nephew of Patriarch James Taylor Tay-lor of Ogden. ! on |
