Show Ml DIES 1EN TAKEN FROM TRAIN Frederick D. Peters, a wealthy farmer farm-er of Shelbyille. Ind., died at the Union depot Saturday at 4 p. m., whih i-nroute with his wife and family, and a sister. Mrs. Maggie Miles, to Call lornia for a vacation. Mr. Peters had been suffering of asthma and heart trouble and left his home to go to California Cal-ifornia lor the benefit ot his h alth. It Is thought that exhaustion from the long trip and the excitement caused his heart to malfunction. He was assisted from the Denver & Rio Qrande train when he came to Ogden and Dr A) lee M. Ridges was called to give him attention Despite all effort- to prolong his life, he died after being in the station a short time. Mr. Peters was born at Shelbyville May 31. 1880. He Is survived by his wife and the three children who were accompanying him on the trip. The body was taken to the Lindqulst chapel and Sunday was shipped back to Indiana, In-diana, accompanied by the family. |
