Brig- ham City's fourteenth annual Peach day festival and celebration has clos-cd clos-cd and will go down in history as one !! of the most successful from the stand - I ', point of attendance, entertainment and attractions yet held Here. Burt and Charles Cheal, followed I! by the Brigham City military band, , county national guard, state firemen,. Red Cross auxiliary, Brigham's old and' I new fire trucks, Merrill Lumber com- : pany float, Ogden S. P. military' band, pioneer teamsters, pioneer knitting - float, Boxelder school farm exhibit, Stohl furniture float, Kindergarten club, Civic Improvement club, Bonneville Bonne-ville Lumber company, J. H. Bott & Sons, Lo Bon Ton millinery, White Auto company, Hansen Furniture company, com-pany, Stewart Motor company, Wright Variety store, and at least 150 automo-i automo-i , biles containing civilians. The parade moved from Secomi J South and Main, marched to First i North and countermarched to Second f: West and Forest The various floats ii were beautifully decorated in the na- J. tional colors. After the parade an intermission was taken until 1 o'clock, when all Y were invited to attend the free peach I and watermelon feast at Pioneer park. The big fruit exhibit also was staged I here and was one of the finest ever rj seen in the state. l Immediately after tho feast the vlsi- tors went to the baseball grounds q where the main afternoon attractions took place.
