Show oo HESLTH SOir OF WEBER HUNT A general health survey of Weber county, including theclty, is to be undertaken un-dertaken by an organization perfected at a recent meeting of Ogden members of the Utah Public Health association and others. Mrs. D. C. Ecclcs is president pres-ident and Rev. John E. Carver vice-president vice-president of tho organization. At the meeting were Dr. R. S. Joyce, Miss; Esta Ensign of Salt Lake, who represented repre-sented the board, C. R. HolIIngsworth and Mrs. J. M. Canso, members of the Utah Public Health association; Rev. J. E. Carver, Mrs. David C. Eccles, George E. Bennett and Miss Adeline H. Smith of Seattle, an experienced nurse in survey work. After a general discussion, it was decided that a general survey should bo mado on all lines of health and sanitary conditions throughout tho county. The work will be done first In tho county, while the seasonable weather obtains, and then in the city. It will bo started al Plain City. Miss Smith, who was engaged in similar work for ton years In Seattlo, will carry out plans for the work here under direction of the association. oo |
