HIGH SCHOOL AND ACADEMY ARE TO MEET IN CONTESTS 1 f FOR BASKETBALL HONORS With the opening of school today tho basketball practice for thr hieh school and the academy will start in earnest. Tho diversion Ramos will start January 25. The first game will be between the Weber academy hoop-strrs hoop-strrs and the Im is county high school five. At the high school Coach Ray Shlrey will start his men with short i scrimmage games and will continue j hard work until the league begins. The men that have shown consider able class are: P. Falck, D FinKree, L. Pingree, J. DeYonai and Sppecb. The Academy squad is composed of Jmith. Roberts, Jones. Fife, Linford, Shreeves, and Peterson. Coach Watson states that his team j will practically every night, including Saturdays. Both schools are enthused) this fear. It looks as thought the (). H. S. team will beat the Academy five for the first time since the O. H. i P. has been playint basketball. The Deaf and Plind school is practicing practic-ing every afternoon and is willing to play any team that wishes a game.
