Todav in the district court, before Judge Pratt, a settlement was effected in the case nI Alice Schaefer, administratrix admin-istratrix of the estate of William bCOaefer, deceased, against the Denver Den-ver & Rio Crande railroad company. According lo Ihe stipulation between the attorneys for the plaintiff and the defendant, Judgment was entered in the sum of $7,500. William Si baefer was a fireman on the Denver & Rio Grande railroad and on June 6, 1916, lost his life by an accident ac-cident cau.-ed by a derailment, the engine en-gine upon w hich he was working over- turned, crushing him in the wreckage. Howell A Wright appeared as attorneys attor-neys for the plaintiff, and Van Cott, Allison .V- Riter for the railroad company.' |
