Steels, shippings ship-pings and various equipments featured the initial dealings on the stock exchange ex-change today at average advances of a point, some of the more speculative war shares recording greater gains These were counter-balanced by the heaviness of General Electric, General Motors, Ohio Gas and Malting preferred pre-ferred Trading was light but without any trace of yesterday's reactionary trend. The market followed Its course of recent days during the forenoon, trading, trad-ing, however, gradually diminishing. Early gains were1 succeeded by numerous numer-ous irregular declines. United States Steel dropped a point to yesterday's minimum of 110 and related shares lost as much. Speculative Issues, notably the motors, reacted 1 to 2Vz points and rails wore fractionally lowfjr. Money conditions were again a potent factor, call loans opening: at 6 per cent. Liberty Lib-erty bands were freely traded in at par to 100.04-4. CHICAGO HOG MARKET. CHICAGO. Sept. 27.
