Conley, and a deposit slip for $350 on the Utah National bank of Ogden. The sum of $3S.5o was found in his clothing. The dying man was found in his room at 11 p. m., and , while still able to speak refused to make a statement. John Miller, whose relatives and friends are unknown here, made the deposit of $350 at the Utah National bank on April 3, last,, receiving an interest-bearing certificate. Cashier Archie V. Mcintosh said today that Miller's deposit was received by a woman clerk whi Is not now with the! bank and would probably not remem-l ber the man's personal appearance,! since he was one of so many patrons.' The nature of the deposit, Mr. Mcintosh Mc-intosh said, indicated the man desired the money to remain as a safe investment. in-vestment. The police are working on the theory that the man was a former employe of the Utah Construction company. In case the man's identity is not established, the disposal of his money will be directed by the courts. |
