Show TO ASK LEGISLATURE TO REGULATE PRICES Salt Lake, Nov. 21. Grocers of Utah are preparing a bill for presentation presen-tation to the next legislature providing provid-ing for the regulation of prices and of the credit system and tho abolishment abolish-ment of price-cutting. An attempt also will be made to obtain the enactment of legislation forcing delicatessens, butcher shops and small grocery stores to obscrvo Sunday closing. Announcement An-nouncement to this effect has been made by J. W. Wilcox, chairman of tho legislative committee of tho Retail Re-tail Merchants' association. It is planned to hold a meeting of the grocers of the state in Salt Lake some time this month to consider the various bills now being drawn in Provo, Ogden, Salt Lake and Logan with a view to combining all the good points of all the bills in one to be presented to the legislature. |
