BUI OF THE t; Ogden retail merchants, in all lines of trade, will be guests at a banquet at the Weber club tonight of the Utah Manufacturers' association. The occasion will afford an opportunity oppor-tunity for the discussion of various 1 topics for the common good, with a view to devising new ways and means I of augmenting prosperity and civic dc-1 velopment. The discussion will bo general and informal. j George W. Goddard. general chair- i man of tho Utali Products Week pro- gram, and others will talk on that sub- j ject and during tho evening tho manufacturers man-ufacturers will consider final plans for tho celebration which will start next Sunday. Tho banquet was. arranged by a committeo composed of Luclan A. Ray of the Utah Cereal Food company, com-pany, S. S. Jensen of the Ogden Packing Pack-ing & Provision company and Gage Rodman of the Craig canneries. Thero is no special program for tho occasion, but all who attend aro assured as-sured of enjoyment. "
