Show TABEMCLE MUSIC 01 NEXT SUNDAY AFTERNOON An afternoon of oratorio music will be given in the Tabernacle next Sunday, Sun-day, by the Ogden Tabernacle choir and soloists, under the direction of Prof. Joseph Ballantyne. Arrangements Arrange-ments for the event were completed this morning, when Edwin P. Kimball, assistant organist of the Salt Lake Tabernacle, accepted Director Ballan-tyne's Ballan-tyne's invitation to be the speaker of the afternoon. Mr. Kimball's remarks will be on the theme of "Music in Worship," with particular reference to the oratorio. ora-torio. The choir will sing excerpts from Dudley Buck's oratorio. "The Story of the Cross" and the soloists, Myrtle B. Higley, Mildred Ware, Le-nore Le-nore Hinckley, Anna Williamson, Douglass Brian, Walter Stephens and William S. Wright will be heard in solo, duet and quartet numbers. The service will begin at 2 o'clock and the public is invited to attend. nn |
