UTAH STOCKS Summary of the Local Market. Dec. 2, 1916. Big Four Exploration was the feature o'f the trading this morning on the local mining exchange when It sold as high as $1.40. This stock closed last night around $1.10, this morning it opened nt $1.35 and sold as high as $1.40, but sold off again before the close to $1.'35, it closing clos-ing with $1.32 1-2 bid and $1.35 asked. Howell Mining also advanced, it changing hands as high as 31 1-2 cents. The trading was very active, there being a total of 87,960 shares changing hands and prices in most issues were about steady.
