Show JAPANESE GOLFERS PLAN A GOLF COURSE New York, Dec. 2. The Japanese golfers of this city have made plans for a golf course of their own, and have engaged A. W. Tillinghast, the well-known golf course architeot, to lay out tho grounds on Long Island, the exact location of which has not been disclosed. The plans of the Japanese call for a club house and golf course to be laid out in a representation or a Nipponese Nip-ponese garden, the details of which nre to be arranged by a Japanese landscape gardener. The club membership mem-bership will include about 300 golfers, most of whom are prominent Japanese Japan-ese business men in the metropolitan district. |
