OVEUD IK I AT CRIPPLE CREEK I Roy Wright of Cripple Creek, Colo. won the Sripple Creek-Manltou road race in one hour, seven minutes and 36 seconds, driving an Overland. His jH margin over the second car to finish jH was 32 seconds. The race was run jH over a 36-mile road, which at times ! rose to an elevation of 10,000 feet jH above sea level. The contest began with a steady climb up Utc Pass, negotiated in JH second and high speeds. Four Mile (Hill, which next confronted the con- jH testants is a long steady pull up a jH grade which varies from four to 17 jH per cent. Seven minutes was the jH time required to make this climb. iH At the finish of the race the motor jH of the winning x:ar was in excellent iH shape. jH
