Heywood stated yesterday that enough data had been secured along the route of travel to form the basis of a guide book that would give tourists the necessary information in-formation for travel without inconvenience incon-venience in this part of the intermoun-tain intermoun-tain country. The city executive made the trip by auto with Chris Flygarc of the city board, James P. Casey, secretary sec-retary of tho Ogden publicity bureau, as guests of Parley M. Parry, manager of the Ogden district of the Utah Power & Light company. The party first went to Logan and then up Logan canyon to Bear Lake, inspecting the north end of the lake as to the adaptability for pleasure trips, and visiting the station of the power company, where equalization of the distribution of the "juice" is attended at-tended to. That night the parly spent at Montpelior, and Thursday tho party visited the station at Grace and the new project at Cove, threo miles further fur-ther down the river. Mayor Heywood states tho trip was very enjoyable and interesting. Sees Great Plant. The place was named Llfton because tho hugo pumps for operation when tho water is low, lifts the water from tho lake. These pumps can reduce tho depth of tho water in the lake twelve feet, and tho lake is twenty miles long.
